Englewood ADU

The homeowners would like to add a new independent dwelling area to their single-family home in Englewood. The new accessory dwelling unit will be home to their mother/mother-in-law, and potentially become a rentable apartment or independent living area for themselves or their children as they get older.

Both a detached and attached ADU were considered with a Feasibility Study. The clients choose to investigate an attached ADU with a Concept Design - leaving the large backyard open for their kids to play and to host large neighborhood potlucks.

In addition to adding a new dwelling area, the attached ADU intends to be highly sustainable and environmentally friendly - while taking in some great views of the Front Range.
