New Addition

Congress Park Rear Addition

The owners of a well-preserved and maintained Craftsman style home built in 1905-1908 want to bring modern function and ample daylight into their old home.

The house has maintained its charm, but the small kitchen and small master bedroom are less conducive to contemporary living. Windows are small, views out are limited, and daylight is too hard to come by.

This project is a two-story rear addition (450 gross square feet) that adds a modern kitchen, dining, storage, entry and outdoor entertaining spaces to the first floor, and creates a full master bedroom suite on the second floor.
